Chennai Super Kings maintain their winning streak in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as they defeated Gujarat Titans by 63 runs in the tournament’s match no. 7 on Tuesday in Chennai.
Earlier, the Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bowl first at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against the five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings. The youngster, Rachin Ravindra began his innings on a positive note as he got boundaries regularly in the powerplay.

With Ruturaj nearing the 40s, he was also dismissed with an edge off the keeper, courtesy a short delivery by Spencer Johnson. But Shivam Dube was able to get going right away as he hit consecutive sixes to begin his innings. He kept up the pace to the final few overs as well, regularly attacking the bowlers.
Shivam Dube brought up his fifty in really quick time, but was dismissed by Rashid Khan as he looked to go big in the death overs.
But Sameer Rizvi managed to make a statement on his first instance batting in yellow scoring two maximums off the first three deliveries. He was dismissed by Mohit Sharma in the next over as CSK went on to set a target of 207 runs.
